Prescription Contact Lenses for Your Lifestyle

Your eyes are only as healthy as the contact lenses you wear.  That is why the doctors of Precision Vision Edmond take your lifestyle and visual needs into consideration to determine which contact lens prescription is best for you.

Welcome to the 21st Century

Contact lens technology has advanced to a level that most anyone who needs vision correction may be able to enjoy the comfort and convenience of contacts.   For instance, if you have nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism or even need bifocals, there are contact lenses designed for you.

In addition to correcting vision for more prescriptions, contact lenses are much easier to care for today too.  The hassle associated with cleaning reusable lenses has been replaced by the convenience of extended wear and 1-Day disposable lens technology.

Are Contact Lenses Right for You?

It starts with a thorough eye examination, an evaluation of your suitability for contact lens wear, the lenses, necessary lens care kits, individual instructions for wear and care and unlimited follow-up visits over a specified time.

Our optometrists then determine the proper lens prescription test the prescription with diagnostic test contact lenses. The diagnostic lenses allow you to preview the quality of vision and lens comfort to ensure your eye health.  You may end up testing a couple of different lenses as part of the fitting process.

When both vision and comfort have been optimized our doctors will provide you with a complimentary set of trial contact lenses to wear for about a week. This gives you time to get familiar with the lenses, your prescription and how they fit your lifestyle.

Following that first week with your new contact lenses, our doctors will evaluate the lens prescription and fit.  If needed, they will fine tune the lenses for comfort, eye health and clear vision at far, intermediate and near distances.

Our Doctors are Contact Lens Experts

When you think about it, a contact lens gets closer to your eye than your eyelid; it becomes an extension of your eye.
